Boosting New Zealand’s medical research and clinical trial capability through accredited blood processing services.
The bioanalytical services team in the Hugh Green Technology Centre provides expert support for processing and analysing biological samples used in clinical and research studies, helping researchers generate high-quality data and translate discoveries into real-world impact.
The team are accredited by IANZ to the international ISO/IEC 17025 standard, confirming technical competence and quality assurance. This includes processing immune cells from blood samples and extracting DNA to help researchers better understand how the body responds to disease and treatment.
As a national service, the team not only addresses a national need but also strengthens the Malaghan’s own biomedical research capabilities.
