Tim Dallas
Head of Facilities
Tim Dallas is Head of Facilities at the Malaghan Institute, leading a small team responsible for the ongoing upkeep of the building. This includes building and maintaining laboratories, maintaining laboratory equipment, consulting with and managing relationships with outside contractors and facilitating a safe, healthy and smooth working environment for all.
Tim joined the institute in 2009, initially as Facilities Assistant, until 2021 when he took over his current position. He came to the Malaghan after more than 20 years working behind the scenes in the theatre, movie and rock and roll industry both in New Zealand and Europe.
