Flow cytometry: enabling scientists to study immune cells in incredible detail so we can better understand health and disease at the most fundamental level.
The cytometry team within the Hugh Green Technology Centre helps scientists study individual immune cells, driving discovery in cancer, infectious disease, and allergic and inflammatory disease. We’ve built a world-class facility that serves both Malaghan Institute researchers and the wider New Zealand scientific community.
Flow cytometry is essential for tracking immune responses and identifying different cell types with precision. By housing this technology within the Hugh Green Technology Centre, we’re enabling collaboration and accelerating progress toward new therapies.
The team's goal is to keep flow cytometry at the forefront of scientific excellence in New Zealand and help transform discoveries into better treatments for people everywhere.
