Wendy Walker is the Head of Fundraising at the Malaghan Institute. She leads a dedicated team in securing essential philanthropic funding to support cutting-edge medical research and life-saving treatments in New Zealand.
With an extensive background in fundraising, banking operations and business development, Wendy is a strong advocate for the power of relationships in driving success.
Since joining the institute in 2022, Wendy has leveraged over 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, complemented by her previous roles in the banking and funds management industries in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
A skilled collaborator and connector, Wendy excels in organisational planning and relationship building, consistently delivering thoughtful and well-executed strategies to advance the Malaghan's mission.
