David Lin

Head of Finance

David Lin is Head of Finance at the Malaghan Institute. Leading a small and highly capable team, he develops and oversees financial strategies, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the institute.

David joined the Malaghan Institute in 2014. He has extensive experience working in finance, accounting, business strategy, marketing, and IT consulting across private, public and not-for-profit organisations.

He has a Bachelor of Engineering and undertook his Master's in Applied Finance and MBA at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
