Kylie Price, Hugh Green cytometry fellow and head of research technology at the Malaghan Institute, was recently named a finalist in the innovation and science category for Women of Influence Awards 2018.

The awards celebrate successful and inspiring women from all walks of life who are making a positive in New Zealand. This is the second time Kylie has been a finalist in this category, a testament to her hard work and dedication to improving science and technology in NZ. In her words:

"I am thrilled to have been selected as a finalist for this year’s Women of Influence Awards. I enjoy championing and advancing the field of cytometry and bringing the diverse applications of this powerful technology to New Zealand’s scientists."

"As manager of the Hugh Green Cytometry Core facility I am committed to providing state-of-the art technology and staff support to help scientists in their quest to provide better health outcomes for all.  It is a real honour to have the work I love doing recognised at such a high level and to be considered along with all the other inspirational women in this category."
