Dr David O'Sullivan

Dr O’Sullivan completed his PhD at Victoria University of Wellington, under the supervision of Prof. Anne La Flamme. He has since undertaken Postdoctoral Fellowships at Washington University in St Louis, USA and at the Max Planck Institute of Immunology and Epigenetics, Germany, within the Lab of Prof. Erika Pearce.  

Dr O’Sullivan is currently a Senior Research Fellow working with the Translational Immunology team, lead by Dr Olivier Gasser.


Research interests

My research has always been broadly focussed around identifying ways we can optimize immune responses. I have a particular interest in exploring how we can use metabolism to influence the function and fate of immune cells, for the benefit of human health.
