Dr David O’Sullivan completed his PhD at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, under the supervision of Professor Anne La Flamme. He has since undertaken Postdoctoral Fellowships at Washington University in St Louis, USA and at the Max Planck Institute of Immunology and Epigenetics, Germany, within the Lab of Professor Erika Pearce.
David is currently a senior research fellow working in the Gasser Laboratory.
Research interests
"My research has always been broadly focused around identifying ways we can optimise immune responses. I have a particular interest in exploring how we can use metabolism to influence the function and fate of immune cells, for the benefit of human health."
