Kylie Price, Hugh Green cytometry fellow and head of research technology at the Malaghan Institute, has been named a finalist in the innovation and science category for Women of Influence Awards 2018.

The awards celebrate successful and inspiring women from all walks of life who are making a positive in New Zealand. This is the second time Kylie has been a finalist in this category, a testament to her hard work and dedication to improving science and technology in New Zealand.

Kylie says she is thrilled to have been selected as a finalist for this year’s Women of Influence Awards.

"I enjoy championing and advancing the field of cytometry and bringing the diverse applications of this powerful technology to New Zealand’s scientists.

"As manager of the Hugh Green Cytometry Core facility I am committed to providing state-of-the art technology and staff support to help scientists in their quest to provide better health outcomes for all. It is a real honour to have the work I love doing recognised at such a high level and to be considered along with all the other inspirational women in this category."
