The Malaghan Institute Team extends a heart-felt thank you to the ICAP New Zealand Team and their clients for their commitment to making a difference through the extremely successful 2015 All Blacks themed ICAP Charity Day. We are extremely grateful and humbled by their generosity.
We feel very lucky to have been selected as one of the charity recipients for the ICAP Charity Day which makes such a big impact on charities around the world. ICAP giving away a day's revenue and commissions every year has empowered people and enabled entire projects driving forward the search for a cure for many serious and terminal illnesses.
Their gift will go towards supporting our Cancer Cell and Molecular Biology Programme. This is an exciting cutting edge programme of research lead by Professor Mike Berridge and Dr Melanie McConnell. This area of research has the potential to discover processes that are fundamental to diseases involving neuronal degeneration such as Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinsons and to the transformation of normal cells into cancer cells.
Thank you again for accelerating our vital research at the Malaghan Institute and for joining the fight against diseases affecting New Zealanders.
