The date of the Royal Wedding between Kate and William, April 29th, is also International Day of Immunology. You are invited to celebrate this auspicious day with us by attending a FREE public lecture entitled "A marriage of convenience: partnering with microbes for better health" from 11 am, 29 Apr 2011 at Laby Lecture Theatre 118, Victoria University of Wellington.
A series of short talks will be given by local scientists discussing how microbes can be used to regulate immune responses that affect diseases such as atherosclerosis, asthma, cancer and diabetes.
