Ms Nicola Sladden

Nicola was appointed Banking Ombudsman at the Office of the Banking Ombudsman on 1 August 2015, after four and a half years as Deputy Banking Ombudsman. Nicola has at least 15 yearsÂ’ experience in dispute resolution. She has a law degree from Victoria University and a Masters of Public Health from Boston University. Nicola was previously the Chief Legal Advisor at the Office of the Health and Disability Commissioner and has worked in private practice. She has published and presented on dispute resolution in New Zealand and abroad. Nicola Joined the Malaghan Institute as a valued Board of Trustees member in July 2014.
