Our CAR T-cell Research Team talks to Claire Concannon from RNZ's Our Changing World about how we're building the future of cancer treatment in New Zealand.

Dr Patricia Rubio-Reyes, PhD Student Yasmin Nouri and Dr Rachel Perret are part of the Malaghan Institute's Freemasons CAR T-cell Research Programme. Their work, running in parallel to the Institute's CAR T-cell clinical trial, aims to both better understand this groundbreaking therapy at the molecular level, as well as develop ways to improve its safety and widen the scope of the therapy to treat more cancers in the future.
