Nicola Sladden was appointed to the Trust Board in July 2014.
In 2015, Nicola was appointed Banking Ombudsman after four and a half years as Deputy Banking Ombudsman. She is a consultant for the World Bank, and has more than 20 years’ experience in dispute resolution, a law degree from Victoria University of Wellington and a Master of Public Health from Boston University.
Nicola was previously the Chief Legal Advisor at the Office of the Health and Disability Commissioner and has worked in private practice. She has published and presented on dispute resolution in New Zealand and abroad.
