You can champion our charity by becoming a Friend of the Malaghan Institute. Our Friends love the feeling of giving something back to their community, but also feel truly rewarded in lots of different ways.
Our incredible Friends power our leading edge research. Some give us a couple of hours here and there helping out with fundraising and events planning, or even suggesting local groups to present our science to. Others give their time as Chairs in their local community, helping build our connections throughout New Zealand. Whatever your skills and interests, and no matter how much time you have to spare, contact our Development Team to find out if volunteering for us works for you.
The Auckland, Hawkes Bay and Wellington Friends of the Malaghan Institute hold annual Charity Golf Tournaments in late spring each year. Over 17 years close to $1.6 million dollars has been raised in these regions to support our hard working scientists. Local sponsors, Malaghan supporters and the business community come together to ensure the success of these events. Please join us.
Contact Jenny Sim to register your interest for our 2016 Golf Tournaments.
