Malaghan Institute Lollipop Appeal, 26 Feb 2010

25 February, 2010

Friday, 26th Feb 2010 is the Malaghan Institute's Annual Lollipop Appeal!

Of the one in three New Zealanders diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime, 40% won’t survive.  But the news isn’t all bleak.  The team of scientists at Wellington’s Malaghan Institute of Medical Research believe a cure is possible and are working hard to find one – not only for cancer, but also asthma, arthritis, multiple sclerosis and infectious diseases.

The Malaghan Institute is New Zealand's premier vaccine and immunology research centre and has a staff of around 90, dedicated to the development of more effective immune-based therapies for the treatment of disease.

As an independent medical research facility and charitable trust, the Malaghan Institute needs your support to continue this important work and to help create a healthier future for all Kiwis.

Tomorrow, Friday 26 Feb 2010, is the Malaghan Institute's Lollipop Appeal.

All donations are gratefully received and are also easy to make – simply choose the way you’d like to help:
