A New Zealand Business Council for Sustainable Development report in 2010 found most New Zealand businesses feel social responsibility is “the right thing to do”. Three years later a BNZ survey of SMEs showed most businesses thought they should support their local communities, but most still did little to publicise any involvement with the community. The Lab Partner programme is a unique way businesses and corporates are supporting the Malaghan Institute and redefining community engagement by dissolving the barriers between their own work and wider community aims.  At the same time as supporting our ground-breaking research into cancer, asthma and allergies, inflammation and infectious diseases and gut immunology, Lab Partners receive several benefits to help them promote this support to their customers, clients, staff and the community.

The Malaghan Institute wants to make it easier for businesses to strengthen their community relations. At the same time as supporting ground-breaking research into cancer, asthma and allergies and immunology, as a Lab Partner you will receive several benefits to help you promote your support to your customers, clients, staff and the community.

We need your support so our scientists have the resources to combine with their skills to develop immunotherapy-based treatments that will be of huge benefit to our community.
